The Town of Auburn School District Multi-Hazard Emergency Plan which meets Commonwealth of Massachusetts Statutory Standards for Multi-Hazard School Plans has been approved by the Police & Fire Chiefs as well as the Superintendent of Schools.  Each school has been provided their Site Specific Plan Worksheet and the principals and Auburn Police Officers are working diligently to assemble highly comprehensive site specific plans for each school that will operate under the umbrella of the District Wide Plan.

Auburn Police Officers recently attended a National Tactical Officer Association Response to Active Shooter Training.  This training was hosted by CEMLEC and has enhanced the police department's ability to respond to this type of incident if necessary.
