What is C.E.R.T. ?
a civilian disaster response program approved and sponsored by The Auburn Office of Emergency Management and supported by the Auburn Police and Fire Departments.  Auburn's public safety officials realize that in the time of a disaster or town-wide crisis, services the community expects from them and are provided routinely by professional emergency workers on a day to day basis will not be readily available if available at all. In recognition of this fact agencies in Auburn that are responsible for public safety adopted this program to supplement the town's response capabilities in the event of a major incident in Auburn.
