Internet Crimes Complaint Center

The Auburn Police Department is a voting member of the NW3C and as part of this membership all complaints relative to fraudulent internet transactions originating from or through our jurisdiction are monitored.  The Auburn Police Department does investigate such complaints as it would any other criminal act taking place in Auburn. 

The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).  If you are an Auburn resident who has been victimized over the internet please report this incident to the Auburn Police Department in person, as well as file an IC3 complaint.  If you are not an Auburn resident and you have believe you have been victimized by person or business originating from Auburn Massachusetts, file your report with the IC3.

Internet Child Exploitation Report

The Congressionally mandated CyberTipline is a reporting mechanism for cases of child sexual exploitation including child pornography, online enticement of children for sex acts, molestation of children outside the family, sex tourism of children, child victims of prostitution, and unsolicited obscene material sent to a child. Reports may be made 24-hours per day, 7 days per week online at www.cybertipline.com or by calling 1-800-843-5678.  In conjunction with making a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children also contact your local police department.
