The
internet is one of the fastest growing means of
communication in the world. Unfortunately the
internet is also one of the fastest growing means of
criminal activity. Traditional crimes such as
Prostitution, Drug Trafficking, Fraud and Larceny
are taking place every day on the internet; on
vast occasions the offenses go undetected.
The Auburn Police
Department is dedicated to ensuring the safety of
Auburn residents both in Auburn and in the virtual
worlds where Auburn may become affected. The Auburn
Police Department does actively monitor the internet
for criminal activity that involves Auburn.
If you are a victim of internet crime or if you have
information relative to child exploitation through
the internet visit our Internet Crime Report Area.
